Abstracted Soul vs. A Logical Mind.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, I navigate the space between two worlds. By day, I am a policy and data analyst who develops machine learning and statistical models to tackle the many ills of our world; by night, I am an explorer of the surreal escaping to a plane far away from this earth.

Facilitating a constant conflict filled dialogue between my past in realism and my present passion for abstraction, towards forming a harmony between the Apollonian and Dionysian. I use acrylic, oil, graphite, and ink to deconstruct the human experience—finding the sweet spot where logic meets emotion.

While my right brain explores the surreal, my left brain craves structure. I am a Data Analyst and Information Designer who whom lives in rows of code, balanced equations, and aligned visual hierarchies.

Where my art deconstructs reality to examine emotion, my analytical work reconstructs data to find truth. I specialize in Demographical Analysis, Data Visualization, Graphic & UXUI Design, and Visual Identity—taking the complex, the messy, within the unquantifiable, and distilling them into clear, actionable, and visually compelling insights--a synthesis of form to function.

The Philosophy? Gateways to Clarity

I believe art should be a gateway, not a fortress. Too often, the art world feels elitist or esoteric. My goal is to strip away the pretension.

Art is a shared journey, a primal unspoken language of empathy and shared understanding. Whether you are looking for deep, probing introspective or a vibrant piece to brighten your home and remind you of the good, you belong here.

My studio is a Shire—a place where fellowships are formed, reality’s pressures melt away, and beauty's found in the most unlikely places.

For me, complexity is often simply discovery awaiting form. In a world drowning in noise and raw, unfiltered information, the ability to distill facts and knowledge is paramount.

Whether I am designing a corporate identity or visualizing a massive dataset for public consumption, the goals are the same: Frictionless Understanding, Audience Connections, Lightbulb Moments. I strip away the superfluous to reveal the essential.

If my art studio is a Shire—a place of escape—my design desk is Eregion—a place of direction, precision, and purpose.

The Process? Controlling Chaos.

Driven by an overactive, ADHD-fuelled mind, a single niche isn't well travelled--I seek to bring together the contrasts and juxtapositions which fuel life into a synthesis. I am constantly stitching together styles, then ripping them apart to build something new. It is a messy, beautiful, ever-evolving experiment.

Being an intuitive artist, I often allow the process to overtake me, seeking the form waiting to break out within the canvas and simply recording the journey along the way one stroke at a time.

Unlike the "controlled chaos" of my painting practice, my design and data process is rooted in the Apollonian ideal: order, measure, and logic.

I approach every project—be it a logo or a dashboard—with an architectural mindset. I analyze the "why" before I touch the "how." I build systems, grids, and frameworks that ensure the final product isn't just aesthetically pleasing, but functionally robust. It is creativity with a blueprint, ensuring that every pixel and data point serves a distinct strategic function.
